About Laura

I’m a UK-based relationship counsellor and coach, working with both individuals and couples to address the issues that most impact their emotional wellbeing and relationships.

My approach is direct, emotionally honest, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I help couples work through challenges such as sexual disconnection, misunderstandings, betrayal, and addictions that undermine closeness, blending emotional depth with practical strategies to rebuild trust and create resilient, fulfilling partnerships.

I also support individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, or low self-esteem, helping them develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self, whether or not they’re currently in a relationship.

Specialist Areas of Interest

Sexless marriages & intimacy repair

Helping partners reconnect sexually and emotionally, rebuild desire and create safety in the bedroom. I support couples to move beyond sexual avoidance toward mutual desire, trust, and closeness.

Attachment dynamics

Tracking how early relational patterns influence your adult relationships. Dealing with anxious, avoidant, or disorganised styles, and teaching new ways to relate with security, closeness, and responsiveness.

trust repair

Helping couples rebuild safety after betrayal, secrecy, or emotional fractures. I’ll guide you to restore transparency, deepen vulnerability, and re-establish a foundation of emotional and trust.

Cultural pressures on modern relationships

Unpacking how media, gender scripts, porn, ideology, and external narratives distort intimacy, desire, and expectations, helping you to develop counter-narratives that reinforce healthy connection and partnership.

Addictions

Addressing behavioural, substance and porn-related addiction within relationships: understanding impact, rebuilding intimacy, and creating recovery plans that honour consent, boundaries, and relational repair.

Mental Well-being

Supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, or self-esteem challenges through a grounded, integrative approach that strengthens emotional resilience and promotes long-term mental wellbeing.
