RECENT Podcast & Media appearances
Here’s a selection of recent interviews and guest appearances:
BBC Radio Somerset
2nd September 2025
To celebrate the release of The BBCs new reality show “Stranded on Honeymoon Island” Charlie Taylor and I discussed whether or not strangers can make love work and what it takes if they’re to be successful in love.
There was a slightly abrupt end to the interview when I made the suggestion that watching these kind of shows probably isn’t the best way to connect with your partner!
Modern Marriage With Monica
23rd July 2025
I had a lovey time talking with Monica at ModernMarriageWithMonica about marriage dynamics, sexless marriages, menopause, feminism, and personal growth in relationships amongst many, many other topics.
If you want a good overview of my opinions on what makes relationships thrive and how to maximise personal growth then this is a great starting place.
The Radical Centre
6th June 2025
I join Leslie at The Radical Centre where we discuss Counselling, Pharma, and the Medicalization of Normal Human Experience.
Leslie created her channel to “call out ideological bias in counsellor education specifically, and in education more generally. This ideology that calls itself “social justice” is an attempt to revolutionize and replace western values with a culture of envy, victimhood, and entitlement. As individuals, we can choose to accept this though we know it’s wrong, for the sake of conflict avoidance- or we can take a stand.”
BBC Radio Somerset
29th May 2025
I’m becoming a regular guest on BBC Radio Somerset lately and it’s always good fun to chat with their DJs in the morning before I start work!
In this discussion I talk with Simon Parking, a familiar name to anyone who grew up in the 90s in the UK. We discuss how to cope after an affair in your relationship and what steps you might need to take to avoid on in the first place.
Help For Men Podcast
28th April 2025
This is my first full length podcast interview in which I talked with Ralph from Help For Men about the value of maintaining a sense of duty in all areas of life, particularly in marriage. ‘Duty’ has unfortunately become a dirty word in recent times, but I believe it’s a fundamental mindset if you truly want to look after those you profess to love.
BBC Radio Somerset
10th April 2025
A lovely chat with Paris Troy on BBC Radio Somerset to discuss the secrets of a long marriage in honour of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s 20th wedding anniversary.
